We chose Twin Rivers Campground based on its website advertising it as being family friendly and a safe place for children. Traveling with a three year old, these were our top priorities. We also liked the fact that they have a quiet time starting at 11pm and under their rules and regulations it states you'll be asked to leave if you violate this policy. It seemed like a pretty safe bet. Unfortunately, the neighbors at the next site started lighting off fireworks in the evening close by to our child playing in the water. They continued lighting fireworks off and on until 4:00 in the morning. In addition to this, they blared music and were also hollering obscenities until dawn. The restrooms were disgusting as were the port-o-johns that hadn't been pumped in weeks. Clearly sites aren't picked up between guests as I pulled about 10 shards of glass off of the bank of the river on our site. I have to say, It was lovely sleeping next to the river, and for the few moments I could hear the running water in between the drunken shenanigans going on next door, it was great. If you're looking for a free for all type of campground, this is your spot. If family friendly is what you're seeking, this isn't it.

Twin Rivers is an awesome place. Beautiful sites right on the river. Great views from your camper in any direct. Susan and Bill and all their staff are the nicest and most helpful people you would ever meet. Made us feel like we were long time friends from the monent we met.
